I shouldn't be up this late as I took care of two kiddos for over 10 hours today! Yay mommy. I didn't do it alone. I had Daddy to help me :)
Cameron is Zayden's lil bro, and his grandpa has been sick, so we have been taking care of him every now and then to help his mommy and daddy while they are at work. He is almost 6 months old. I definitely got practice and was able to "test drive" two kids. Its hard, no joke. I am not going to lie. Cameron is a good baby too. Imagine if he was more high maintenance, I would be in trouble!
Its hard to divide your attention equally for sure, and little things you do each day are not taken for granted so much! I didn't really get to pee much, didn't eat or drink water as much as I would like, and didn't really get to brush my teeth or hair more than once today, which I should have! Actually when you think about it, its a lot like my old job, when I was a hardworking floor nurse! Nursing definitely prepares you for life's challenges, I believe that nurses are some of the best people out there, but I am biased of course!
At the end of the day, I realize, I am not Quite ready for baby numero dos just yet. (on a side note: Zayden can count to five en espanol now! woohoo) I want to enjoy my lil man for a little bit...maybe until he is preschool? That is what I want to do at this time and Daddy agrees, we aren't ready for the sleepless nights just yet. We need to pray on it and see what God has planned for us. :)
