Mommy took a break from blogging recently, lots of stuff going on--Abuelita has been sick and in the hospital, then mommy got sick, then sister was here to visit...SO.... We just wanted to wish everyone a Happy and Blessed Easter...Since mommy was sick this weekend, Lola took over the Easter festivities for mommy and helped Zayden make his first colored Easter eggs! yay! He really liked it and he is really getting all his colors right no now, so he had lots of fun identifying all the colors and of course EATING the egg! His favorite is hard boiled eggs, he ate 2 of them during this session. I made a collage of all the pics, thanks to Picasa, I heart Picasa now--it makes me look like I know what I am doing ;)
Today we took photos of Zayden for our GREEN Christmas ecard we will be sending out this week via email! Our family is trying to live more and more GREEN and do things that are eco-friendly. We are definitely still loving the cards we received and we will do our part to recycle them and not let them go to waste!
Side note: In the United States over 2.5 billion cards are sent. That’s enough to fill a football field 10 stories high. Reduce that number by one card and full story is removed and that saves about 50,000 cubic yards of paper.
Isn't that fact pretty amazing? We try to recycle gift cards, gift bags, and we will also recycle the cards sent and put them to good use so they do not get wasted and the paper is reused!

Sunday was a great day, we spent the day with all the great fathers in our lives, number one is daddy to zayden of course, then Lolo and Abuelo ;) Here are some shots of our day, we went to visit Abuelo at the VA and then went out to dinner here at home with Lolo and the rest of the family. Zayden was a good boy, he napped in the car on the long drives and at dinner he was somewhat behaved :) Its a good thing we have lots of hands to carry him and walk him to all the new things he wants to see...Happy Father's Day to the best Dads in the world, we love you.
