Toddler Tuesday

Early to bed, really does mean early to rise! So Zayden has been doing so great sleeping lately, Daddy puts him to bed most nights now. Well last night he was being fussy and on the couch trying to pretend he was sleeping about an hour before his bedtime. So Daddy took his clue and brought him to bed. Well he didn't like that and he cried and cried. Usually he will cry for a few seconds or say a few words when he is tired, then turn around and go to bed. But this time he really cried. Daddy finally got him down though. Yay Daddy! But of course...he is up with the roosters this AM!

So this morning, Daddy was lucky enough to get the day off from work--he was already dressed up to go but got a really late call. So when he walked off to take the call--Zayden said "Daddy, no stay MEEEEE Dadddy!". He really loves his Daddy and I love to see that father son bond grow each day.

AWWWWW that was really really cute of him to say and we are both SO glad Daddy stayed home with us today and now we get to do Christmas stuff, watch movies, and go out later on.

It has been so cold for California weather, you know we are kinda wimpy in the cold! There has actually been ice lately on the roads, and it apparently is snowing in the mountains of the Bay area today as well! Definitely a day to stay mainly inside. Mommy has got to start working on projects earlier and not staying up so freakin late so I don't get sick for Christmas! Everyone has been sick lately. Let's all get better and we are definitely looking forward to 2009 with all the changes, a new president and a new vision for America! YES!

On a side note--not toddler related--I know that I don't like Bush so much, but I still feel bad for the guy getting that shoe thrown at him. TWICE! Where the heck is the secret service man??
