Starting to become gorgeously GREEN!

After earth day 2008, mommy decided to buy a book after she saw on Oprah all the things she could do better for our planet...since then, we have been making changes to try and make our home greener, and also doing our part to have a sustainable, green environment for all the little ones to grow into!

Here are some cool links and easy changes that anyone can make, they help clean our water and free our landfills of all the stuff that cannot be recycled...

  • gorgeouslygreen.com is an awesome site with great resources to start
  • start using reusable bags and NOT plastic, bring them with you to grocery stores
  • throw out all plastics that leach out BPA--especially for kids and babies
  • get a reusable drinking bottle, don't buy the plastic water bottles!
  • don't use the paper towels rolls, use old towels to wipe us messes
  • change over to organic cotton clothing and towels
You don't have to be an activist or turn super crunchy, just start researching and making minor changes, and you can see what little things we all can do to make a difference!
